I’m Maya Enov, an artist, graphic designer, working mom and lover of beautiful things.

My passion for creating jewelry began as a way to express my personal style and expand my own collection of accessories. Knowing the hectic life of us all, I was always looking for accessories that would instantly create a put-together look, adding a WOW effect, even if paired with a simple outfit. This is how ColarabyMe had started, and this is what I’m on the constant lookout for, when creating my line’s new statement items.

There are many things that inspire me to make the necklaces, earrings, and brooches offered in my shop. I find a lot of beauty in the Medeterenian nature that surrounds me: blooming almond trees, groves of Prickly Pear cactuses and lush Monstera plants. Another source of influence is my love for art, especially pop-art, modern sculpture, and contemporary design. Once I choose the central element for my next piece and understand its story, I start selecting the right material to realize my idea.

I love unexpected combinations and work with a wide selection of mediums and am never afraid to use strong shapes and bright colors. I find my inner peace of mind when designing my jewelry, and when working on each handmade piece. I employ various techniques, such as laser cutting, crocheting or woodworking. Each material is given special treatment so that different elements can come together harmoniously and create a unique style.

I hope that when you wear one of my creations, you’ll feel special and ready to take on the world. Every single item is designed, made and shipped to you by hand by me and my wonderful sister Sonya.
